Writers Read Presents Billy-Ray Belcourt

Writers Read welcomes Griffin Poetry Prize-winning writer Billy-Ray Belcourt to read from his new book, The Idea of An Entire Life.

Billy-Ray Belcourt is an associate professor in the School of Creative Writing at the University of British Columbia. He is the author of five national bestselling books: This Wound is a World, NDN Coping Mechanisms: Notes from the Field, A History of My Brief Body, A Minor Chorus, and Coexistence. He released his sixth book, The Idea of An Entire Life, in September 2025.
