About the Speaker
Wafi Ghanem is director of the education department in the City of Sachnin, a city of 34,000 Muslims and Christians in Israel's northern district. He is a doctoral candidate at Bar-Ilan University, where his academic research focuses on the impact of volunteering on high school students. He will discuss Sachnin's education system, emphasizing the importance of students' volunteer work in determining their future paths.
