Lindsay Faul, Counsellor
Lindsay provides support, counseling, accompaniment and referral to Concordia students, staff and faculty impacted by sexual violence at any point in their lives. Lindsay’s approach is trauma-informed, survivor-centered, 2SLGBTQ+ friendly, anti-oppressive, and non-judgmental. She holds a masters’ degree in Social Work from McGill University and has over 15 years of experience working in the field.
Lindsay offers counselling support using Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy approaches. Sessions focus on exploring the memory of the traumatic event(s) and its meaning. Learn more about CPT
In addition, Lindsay is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy and is able to offer this treatment approach to clients who are deemed appropriate for the standard protocol. Learn more about EMDR
