Program
Lead confidently across functions
The John Molson Executive MBA is built for experienced professionals who are moving from functional leadership to enterprise leadership.
Designed as a “living enterprise journey,” the program provides the tools to build functional depth across finance, strategy, operations and leadership. You’ll test what you learn under real constraints and come away with a coherent enterprise story that sets you apart.
Integration is not just a promise. Participants in the John Molson EMBA will practice, test and defend their integration model.
Earn your EMBA while you work
The John Molson EMBA is designed for working executives who can't pause their careers. The schedule is predictable and shared in advance so you can plan with your employer and protect your calendar.
A format built for real work weeks
One full class day per week, alternating Fridays and Saturdays.
A cohort model that builds momentum and continuity
Hybrid capable classroom that supports remote participation when needed, while the program remains designed for an in person cohort experience
Course work is designed to connect directly to executive decision making. Each term builds toward an integrated outcome where you connect the disciplines into one enterprise narrative and defend your tradeoffs live.

Leadership coaching is also available throughout the program, either in class for group coaching or by appointment for one-on-one sessions.
Your cohort
Learn alongside experienced leaders from diverse industries across Quebec and beyond. The cohort model is a core part of the learning design: you stress test ideas with peers, not in isolation.

An EMBA for accountable decision makers
You'll build deep functional capability in finance, strategy, operations, digital and leadership, then integrate them into one enterprise storyline. Each term ends with a live defense where you explain your assumptions, defend tradeoffs and demonstrate judgment under questioning.
Built for what matters
You can use modern tools, including AI, to research and prepare. But performance is authenticated live. The program assesses what matters at the executive level: understanding, reasoning and decision quality.
Cohort strength and network
You'll learn with a cohort of experienced peers across industries. The result is not only knowledge, but sharper judgement, stronger executive presence and a broader lens through which you see your organization.
Beyond the classroom
The John Molson EMBA program includes structured leadership development, lifelong learning benefits and supporting modules that extend the value of the program long after graduation.
Enhance your leadership abilities
Our Leadership Effectiveness and Development (LEAD) Executive Coaching gives you the opportunity to embark on a development journey with professional executive coaches through one-on-one sessions. You'll identify key growth areas and translate that insight into sustained leadership behaviour.
LEAD begins with psychometric assessments and multi-source feedback, followed by one-on-one reviews of results. Coaching then focuses on a small number of high impact growth priorities, using results oriented strategies to support measurable progress and accountability over time.
Cohort champion
Each cohort is paired with a senior industry leader who meets the class at several points during the program to share practical perspectives on executive decision-making and to support cohort networking.
Healthy Executive
Executive leadership is a capacity challenge. Since 2015, our Healthy Executive module has supported sustainable performance in high pressure environments by helping participants build practical habits around energy, resilience and recovery. The module is delivered in partnership with experts from Concordia’s School of Health and is designed to support the realities of working executives across the program.
Lifelong learning
After graduation, EMBA alumni can return to audit EMBA courses at no additional cost. This allows you to refresh your thinking as business contexts shift, revisit topics when they become relevant in your role and stay connected to faculty and the cohort learning experience.
Global perspective, real world realities
EMBA 625 is an integrated international experience that will test your enterprise logic in a different economic, cultural and institutional context. It's designed as a field test where you compare assumptions built in class with real world realities abroad.
