Art Volt Grant Writing Program

Program Overview

We are happy to announce the renewal of the Art Volt Grant Writing Program! Recent alumni who have graduated within the last 3 years are invited to apply to participate in this 6-week intensive professional training program. The goal of this program is to help participants improve their grant writing skills through the process of writing and assembling their own grant application. The program will also encourage recent alumni to develop a practice of peer review, while building a network of peers and professionals that can help support one another.

Selected participants will attend a series of events, workshops and work sessions, all designed to help improve their grant writing skills. At the end of the program, each participant will be able to choose a mentor (from a list we provide) and receive 4h of personalized support to help proofread, edit and finalize their grant application. Furthermore, participants who complete the program will receive an honorarium of $350 as a small kickstarter for their grant project.

To apply to this Grant Writing program, you must:

  • have graduated from Concordia University’s Faculty of Fine Arts, within the last three years;
  • not currently be enrolled in any education program at Concordia or elsewhere;
  • be available to attend each workshop and work session as listed in the program schedule below.

If you have any questions about the application process or need specific accommodations to help you succeed in applying, please get in touch with artvolt@concordia.ca.
