Paul is the mentor for you, if you are interested in: Entrepreneurship for artists, makers, movers and shakers! Your creative abilities as a business model, creativity as intellectual property, commercializing products or services, conducting product market fit, demystifying the VC funding landscape, building your grant budget, preparing your product strategy for growth,and/or writing your investor deck.

Paul Ortchanian is an Industrial Technology Advisor (ITA) at the National Research Council of Canada's Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC IRAP). In this role, he provides guidance and support to entrepreneurs and small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) in the Montreal area.

Prior to joining NRC IRAP, Ortchanian had successful stints as the technical experience director with Blast Radius digital agency in San Francisco, and as the vice-president of technology and operations for the global communications firm Edelman. In 2018, he founded the Montreal-based consulting firm Bain Public, which helped first-time entrepreneurs and first-time product managers navigate complex technology challenges. Ortchanian successfully sold Bain Public in 2021, a testament to the firm's growth and impact.

He now focuses on assisting graduates in areas such as entrepreneurship for artists, makers, and movers and shakers; leveraging creative abilities as a business model; commercializing products or services; conducting product-market fit analysis; demystifying the venture capital funding landscape; building grant budgets; preparing product strategies for growth; and crafting investor decks.

He remains deeply engaged with the early-stage startup ecosystem in Montreal and continues to volunteer with accelerators.
