Le Lin - Atelier Circulaire Mentor
Le Lin is our Atelier Circulaire mentor. Le's mentee will benefit from a one-year membership with l'Atelier Circulaire and access to 20 "Fridays at the Studio". This can also include meetings with the co-directors to further support the mentee in the development of their practice/career.

Le is the mentor for you, if you are interested in: Printmaking, risograph, bookbinding, running a small press, freelance graphic design, hosting workshops, event organizing, festival programming, participating in art book fairs, working at artist-run centres, applying to artist residencies.
Born in China, Le is a trans Teochew-Canadian multi-disciplinary artist, activist, and researcher based in Tiohtiá:ke/Montréal, Quebec. He graduated from his BFA at Concordia University in 2021 with a focus in Printmaking, Bookbinding, and Graphic Design. Since then, he has worked for BookArt, Quartier des Spectacles, District 3, ARCMTL, and various non-profits. He spent a couple years in Japan where he did the JET Programme and worked at Hand Saw Press, a DIY Risograph Printing Press in Tokyo. In 2024, he became the recipient of the 6th Louis-Pierre Bougie Grant in Printmaking at Atelier Circulaire. Currently he works at Atelier Circulaire as the Risograph Coordinator, where he helps artists create prints and zines, and teaches risograph and bookbinding classes.
Le’s art practice is oriented towards experiences of joy, empathy, and connection, and informed by thoughts and ideas that are authentic to their diasporic experience; these include gender, racialization, queerness, language, and identity. He is a firm believer that art/design should be tools of resistance, acts of vulnerability, and uplifting one another.
