Born in Dubrovnik, Croatia, Kat Coric is a multidisciplinary artist, HIV/AIDS and community activist, art agent, and event producer. Her artwork powerfully addresses themes at the intersection of homophobia and addiction, adding a deeply personal and socially engaged dimension to her practice. With over 25 years of experience, she has produced more than 60 art exhibitions and brings a wealth of knowledge in event production, partnership development, and non-profit fundraising. She has led major events and capital campaigns for organizations such as the Montreal Real Estate Foundation for Kids, the Canadian Armed Forces, the Vimy Foundation, and the Macdonald Stewart Foundation.

Since 2009, Kat has also played a key role in launching and managing the career of artist Yunus Chkirate, serving as his general manager and agent. If you are looking for a mentor who understands both the creative and business sides of the art world—and who can help you unlock new opportunities—Kat Coric is here to help.
