Rev. Jennifer Bourque 

Chaplain & Coordinator

Jen is Chaplain and Coordinator of the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre, and is excited to explore questions of meaning and belief in community and one-on-one. Jen has a background in spiritual care in hospital settings, as well as degrees in religious studies and theology and is an ordained priest/minister in the Anglican Church.

Jen loves meeting new people and learning with and from them. She thinks that joy and wonder are important traits to nurture.

 

Sonia Masand

Interfaith Facilitator

Sonia develops interfaith programs around campus to serve the community. She provides support and resources for campus groups while also counseling students regarding faith, spirituality, values and personal concerns. She has a BA in World Religions from McGill University and MA in Human System Interventions from Concordia.

Through curiosity and care, she aspires to build communities that celebrate diversity of thought and opinion and enable mindful conversations around identity, faith and culture.  She is a proud foodie and enjoys bonding over meals, badminton, and long walks.

Ruby Feiler

Ambassador & Administrative Assistant for Community Care and Compassion

Ruby is a student Ambassador at the MfSC, provides administrative support for Community Care and Compassion and is a fourth year Anthropology student. With a passion for bringing people together, Ruby supports the creation of meaningful events by offering administrative and facilitative support.

Ruby believes that shared activities like cooking, eating, and intentional reflections are powerful ways to build a warm and inclusive environment where diversity, equity and inclusion thrive!

Azra Hazarika

Ambassador

Azra is an MfSC Ambassador. She is a fourth year Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology student and comes to MfSC with experience working on campus as a food server at the residence in the downtown campus and a co-op placement as a Corporate Training Strategist Intern with Airbus.

Azra is passionate about community engagement and is a former Sun Youth and Multi-faith & Spirituality Centre volunteer.

Deborah Simon

Office Assistant

Deborah assists in the running of the day to day administration, logistics and operations of the Multi-faith & Spirituality Centre.  With a background in Human Relations her interests are in the blending of education, creative arts and community engagement.
