Concordia’s CPE daycare - September 2026 admissions update
Concordia’s Centre de la petite enfance, the CPE daycare located on the Sir George Williams campus, will be accepting direct admissions until October 2026 for children of employees, students, and for siblings of children already enrolled in the daycare.
What this means:
This is a temporary measure. During this period, the standard referral process through the Government childcare portal will not be used. Parents must apply directly to the daycare while still ensuring their child is registered on the portal.
This approach has been authorized by the Ministère de la Famille following recent challenges with the launch of the Government childcare portal.
Who can apply
For admissions starting September 1, 2026 (children aged 18 to 59 months), parents must:
- be actively studying or working at Concordia University
- be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident, or hold a valid work permit
How to apply
Step 1: Confirm your registration
Ensure that:
- your child is registered on the Government childcare portal
- you have received a registration number
- your child’s profile indicates their connection to Concordia
If you have not yet registered your child, please visit:
