3.    Sea dog shanties

Sea Songs | Conseil des arts de Montréal (CAM) en tournée | Centre culturel de Pierrefonds | Friday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Ever wonder what a musical set at sea might sound like? Probably something along the lines of CAM en tournée’s Sea Songs, a choral spectacle paying homage to the ocean-going songs that have travelled with sailors across water and time.

Drift away as musical director Seán Dagher leads a choir of seven men, armed with maritime instruments, in revisiting beloved melodies that have graced the forecastle of many a ship, and many a sea dog’s heart.
