Concordia staff and faculty are invited to take in a varsity hockey game, for free, on Friday, January 22 at 7:30 p.m.

The game between the Stingers men’s hockey team and the Carleton Ravens will take place at the Ed Meagher Arena on the Loyola Campus (7200 Sherbrooke W.). Last time the two teams faced each other — on October 10, 2014 — the Stingers won 5-2.

“We want to build school spirit and camaraderie among the Concordia community by offering an affordable, family-friendly, mid-winter activity,” says Eric Boghen, marketing manager in the Department of Recreation and Athletics. “Nothing brings Montrealers closer together than a good hockey game.”

So grab your complimentary noisemaker, find a good seat in the stands and get ready to cheer on Concordia's own hockey stars.

Go, Stingers, go!

To register, email Leonida Jacinto, events manager for Recreation and Athletics, by Wednesday, January 20, at 4 p.m. Please indicate how many guests you’ll be bringing to the game.
