CIADI student professional development series

In 2003, Serge Morin, a graduate in architecture and in 3D animation, decides to merge his expertise with his passions. With two partners, he founded LANTERNE DIGITALE (Digital Lantern), a small studio specializing in the production of 3D image and animation for real estate developers of the region.

In 2013, Serge Morin became Digital Lantern’s sole owner and the Studio began to completely orient its services toward innovators of tech and industrial fields.  In order to meet the growing demands with rigor and professionalism, the small company continued its growth during the next years.

In 2019, executives are hired in order to help Serge focus his attention on the inner structure of the company and optimize the company's operations in order to facilitate its growth and better help innovators of all fields.  The company began its international development strategy and started to showcase its services during different international events like the CES in Las Vegas.

The year 2020 of course follows with the advent of COVID which will upset the world on several levels. The pressing need of many customers to present their products remotely has resulted in an opportunity for Digital Lantern which leveraged its knowledge of 3D software with the development of a new 3D platform: Lantern 3D Space. A platform that allows its user to present and configure their products in 3D at distance and to carry out their business development activities with their clients despite the difficult situation.

Born out from a crying need for innovators to present their product, the real-time platform continues to offer multiple advantages and is today at the center of Digital Lantern’s development.
