Programs
We believe that the integration of theory and practice is the key to learning that is relevant and lasting. We offer an undergraduate internship in Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies and a practical project or internship in the graduate diploma.

Major in Community, Public Affairs and
Policy Studies
The BA Major in Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies is an undergraduate program designed to provide an interdisciplinary training and education in public policy analysis and policy advocacy. The School seeks to educate its students to be sensitive to the broad social, economic and political factors that are part of the public policy process.

The First Peoples Studies program is a Major designed to introduce the student to the world of First Peoples (First Nations, Inuit, and Métis), specifically within the Quebec context. It investigates the history, the current situation, and the changing needs of First Peoples. Taught from First Peoples perspectives and based on sound, culturally sensitive research, the program's aim is to bring accurate awareness and a better understanding of First Peoples issues, develop further understanding of society's standing in relation to First Peoples, and build mutual understanding between Quebec society and First Peoples.

The Graduate Diploma in Community Economic Development (CED) is a 30-credit, three-semester program over one-year that addresses local economic sustainability and social vitality. Geared to community-based practitioners working with marginalized or capital-poor communities, the program strengthens participatory leadership and emphasizes reflective practice.
