Programs

All of our programs integrate theory and practice, to help students understand the big picture issues they are studying, as well as how to apply them in the real world. We offer multiple levels of certification.

Undergraduate degrees

Major in Community, Public Affairs and Policy Studies

Designed to provide an interdisciplinary training and education in public policy analysis, policy advocacy and community-based practice, this program will educate its students to be sensitive to the broad social, economic and political factors that are part of the public policy process.

Microprogram/Elective Group in Indigenous Land-Based Education

Welcoming students from diverse academic and non-academic backgrounds, this program immerses students in Indigenous land-based pedagogies, practices and ways of understanding the world around us. The Microprogram is for students not yet enrolled at Concordia who wish to take it as a standalone program. Minor/Certificate in Immigration Studies

The minor is an ideal complement to students pursuing undergraduate studies in social sciences and the humanities, who wish to deepen their understanding of immigration in Quebec and Canada.

The certificate program is a natural choice for people already working in the field who wish to reinforce their practical experiences with academic training.

Experiential learning

Experiential learning is integrated throughout our courses. Students learn to connect theory to practice by undertaking a wide variety of hands-on projects.
