Co-op programs offer you the unique opportunity to apply classroom learning to the real-world work environment. A co-op program will allow you to explore different types of jobs in your chosen major and, in the process, develop a better understanding of what interests and motivates you.
Check out the JMSB co-op programs that are available to you:
The David O’Brien Centre for Sustainable Enterprise (DOCSE) develops sustainable practices through academic research, programs, and outreach within the community. The Sustainable Internship Program (SIP) offers JMSB undergraduate and graduate students as well as recent alumni the opportunity to gain experience in the domain of sustainability. SIP interns are motivated JMSB students who wish to gain business experience and pursue their passion to create a positive social or environmental impact.
The Community Service Initiative (CSI) at the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) at Concordia University encourages and promotes community service and links the resources of the JMSB with the needs of communities including non-profit organizations, social enterprises, small businesses, governmental agencies and institutions.
The John Molson School of Business (JMSB) focuses on innovative educational practices that combine traditional classroom learning with real-life knowledge application. Business competitions give students an additional opportunity to integrate these two elements. JMSB students are recognized worldwide for their ability to analyze and provide solutions to complex business problems in an increasingly global business environment. From the student-run John Molson Undergraduate Case Competition, the MBA International Case Competition hosted by MBA students for MBA students, the Engineering and Commerce Case Competition which unites engineering and business undergraduate students to fuel new ideas, students have many opportunities to put their learning into practice.
