Community Service Initiative
The Community Service Initiative (CSI) at the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University encourages and promotes community service and links the resources of the John Molson School of Business with the needs of communities including non-profit organizations, social enterprises, small businesses, governmental agencies and institutions.
The CSI seeks to develop and coordinate opportunities for students, faculty and staff, and community agencies to collaborate and build partnerships aimed at learning from each other while working together for the benefit of society. The learning objectives of CSI are consistent with and support John Molson's seven strategic imperatives and Concordia University’s strategic direction of community engagement and social responsibility and its strategic framework, nine directions for a next-generation university.
Experiential Learning through Community Service
The CSI links experiential learning with service to the community through Community Engaged Scholarship including:
- Community Engaged Teaching and Learning,
