Interim Chaplain & Coordinator

Jen is Chaplain and Coordinator of the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre, and is excited to explore questions of meaning and belief in community and one-on-one. Jen has a background in spiritual care in hospital settings, as well as degrees in religious studies and theology and is an ordained priest/minister in the Anglican Church.

Jen loves meeting new people and learning with and from them. She thinks that joy and wonder are important traits to nurture.

Yamile Torres

Interim Interfaith Facilitator

Yami has a background in Psychology and she is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Concordia University as an international student.

She will also be the Interfaith Facilitator at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Center until Febuary 2024.

Yami believes that human beings have the right to belong to caring, respectful, open, and diverse communities, in which they can develop themselves in a holistic manner. Furthermore, she seeks to reflect this in each of the events and activities of the department. For her, the most important thing is to provide safe spaces for people to be, explore, transform, and become.

Loyola Chapel Coordinator

Deborah oversees the day to day operation of the chapel and can assist you with coordinating your event. Her interests are in the blending of education, theatre and community engagement.

Vedant Kirtidan Gadhavi

Chapel Assistant

Currently pursuing Master of Applied Computer Science at Concordia University, Vedant is quietly dedicated to both technology and life. Grounded in the belief that kindness transcends boundaries, he offers support within his capabilities, fostering a collective spirit focused on making the world a better place for everyone.

Away from the complexities of code, Vedant takes solace in storytelling, being an attentive and empathetic listener who appreciates the diversity of narratives. When it comes to music, Vedant enjoys exploring different genres but has a special love for the emotional nuances of Hindi melodies.

In collaborative efforts, Vedant brings a balanced mix of technical skills and a sincere appreciation for the human experience.

As a Chapel Assistant at Loyola Campus, he supports the Chapel Coordinator (Deborah) in running the chapel as a hospitable space for the concordia community and organizing events at it.

Student Office Assistant/Media Relations

David is an undergraduate student majoring in Business Technology Management at John Molson School of Business. He is passionate about meeting and talking to students from various cultures and backgrounds and is always willing to lend a helping hand!

As the Student Office Assistant/Media Relations, he is here to welcome you at the Multi-faith and Spirituality Centre, answer your questions and let you know about all ongoing or future activities through social media.

David loves playing the guitar and appreciates all kinds of music, well-equipped to jam with fellow musicians at any time of the year.

We can’t help everyone, but everyone can help someone.

Sadath Roshan

Office and Program Assistant

Roshan is a graduate student majoring in software engineering. He helps facilitate and co-lead events such as the Drum Circle. He is around the Z-Annex to help with any questions about the MFSC.
