Webster Library

Some signs in the Library include braille lettering, although this is not consistent.
The touchscreen kiosks by the stairs on each floor have interactive floor plans for wayfinding.

Planned improvement

Signage for accessible washrooms will be added (phase 1, 2026–2027).

Seating and study spaces

Students registered with the Access Centre for Studies with Disabilities can book group study rooms for solo use.

Webster Library

Different types and heights of workspaces are available on each floor.

Standard desks are wheelchair accessible.

Portable standing desks can be borrowed.

Express work area (LB-2): standing desks are available as well as one low desk with space for a chair or wheelchair. One desk has a high stool.

There are four individual study pods: two on LB-3 and two on LB-4. However, these pods are not wheelchair accessible or reservable.

Vanier Library

Four wheelchair-accessible workstations with height-adjustable chairs are available on VL-1, facing the VL-122 computer classroom.

Standard desks are wheelchair accessible.

Portable standing desks can be borrowed.

Partitioned desks (study carrels) are available on VL-2.

Lighting

Light therapy lamps are available to borrow.

Webster Library

Adjustable lighting is available in the group study rooms.

Individual workstations are equipped with lamps in the reading rooms.

Sound

Noise cancelling headphones are available to borrow.

The Friends of the Library Room (LB-361) is a zero-noise area.

Vanier Library

VL-1 and VL-2 are silent study areas.
