Olympiade Francophone de Mathématiques

The Mathematics and Statistics department is set to host the Olympiade Francophone de Mathématiques on March 23rd, 2024.

Since 2020, the Olympiade Francophone de Mathématiques has brought together high school students from French-speaking nations to compete simultaneously across different regions of the world. Participants engage individually with four challenging math problems spanning algebra, combinatorics, geometry, and number theory. On March 23rd, 2024, Canada's six-member team will compete for top honors at the 5th edition of the Olympiad, to be held by Concordia University's Department of Mathematics and Statistics. This marks Canada's fourth consecutive year in the event, with team members consistently securing three or more medals. Best wishes to all our participants! Le département de mathématiques et de statistiques s'apprête à accueillir l'Olympiade Francophone de Mathématiques le 23 mars 2024.

Depuis 2020, l'Olympiade Francophone de Mathématiques rassemble des lycéens des pays francophones qui s'affrontent simultanément dans différentes régions du monde. Les participants s'attaquent individuellement à quatre problèmes mathématiques difficiles couvrant l'algèbre, la combinatoire, la géométrie et la théorie des nombres. Le 23 mars 2024, les six membres de l'équipe canadienne se disputeront les honneurs de la 5e édition de l'Olympiade, organisée par le département de mathématiques et de statistique de l'Université Concordia. C'est la quatrième année consécutive que le Canada participe à cet événement, les membres de l'équipe remportant systématiquement trois médailles ou plus. Meilleurs vœux à tous nos participants !
