    The APA is the principal learned society for classical studies in North America. Its website offers links to other classics organizations, classics journals, classics on-line resources, etc.Included is information on upcoming lectures and conferences.
  • Classical Association of Canada
    This site provides information on positions available, summer study (tours, courses, digs), classics programmes in Canada, etc. Included is access to the Association's journal, Phoenix.
  • Didaskalia: Ancient Theatre Today
    "Didaskalia is an electronic resource and journal dedicated to the study of ancient Greek and Roman drama and its reception." Includes information on performances, conferences, museum exhibitions, seminars, summer schools, jobs, etc.
  • Diotima: Materials for the Study of Women and Gender in the Ancient World
    Contains course materials, bibliographies, and links to on-line resources, including articles, book reviews, databases, and images.
  • Abridged Online Thesaurus Linguae Graecae
    Provides "access to a number of works from authors such as Homer, Hesiod, Plato, Aristotle, the Greek tragedians and orators that have traditionally been used in college level instruction of Greek."
  • Perseus Digital Library
    This database is an evolving digital library of resources, textual and visual, for the study of the ancient world.Includes catalogues of sites, buildings and objects (coins, sculpture, etc.), texts and translations, dictionaries, reference tools, atlases, etc.

    An excellent gateway to classics websites. Covers archaeology, language, literature, history, philosophy, and mythology. Resources also include: associations, classics departments, listservs and newsgroups, journals, conferences, and course syllabi.

  • PHI Greek Inscriptions (Packard Humanities Institute) -  Digitized Greek inscriptions, includes public laws, decrees, grave stones, pottery marks, etc.
