Keywords for searching

There is no Library of Congress subject classification for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning, which can make searching for articles in Sofia and other databases difficult. You can use “Scholarship of Teaching and Learning” and “SoTL” in your search to find a few good articles, and then using the “cited by” function in Google Scholar or Scopus to find other related articles and information.

You can also narrow your search by including a specific type of pedagogy (e.g., active learning), methodology (e.g., qualitative research), or a target audience (e.g., graduate students). You can also search for a specific discipline, but remember that research outside of your field may also be relevant and informative.
