Kaveh is the mentor for you, if you are interested in: independent filmmaking, whether fiction, documentary or music videos.

Kaveh Nabatian is an award-winning Iranian-Canadian director and musician whose evocative filmmaking has brought to life stories from the margins of society and across the world: Haiti, Nunavut, South Africa, New York and beyond.

He is the director of the award-winning films Sin La Habana (Prix Iris for Best First Feature Film, VIFF Best Canadian Film, Canadian Screen Award nominations) and Kite Zo A (SXSW, FNC International Panorama Audience Award), as well as having directed videos for the likes of Aurora, Leif Vollebekk, Half Moon Run, The Barr Brothers, and Sarah Neufeld.

He is also the trumpet player in Juno Award-winning band Bell Orchestre.
