A recent study by Jon Sakata and his PhD student Logan James reveals some surprising commonalities in the way birds learn songs and humans learn speech. The study was published in Current Biology and subsequently featured on CTV news, in Montreal newspaper La Presse, and on the Big Think ideas web site.
