Bachelor of Commerce (BComm)

Academic programs

The John Molson School of Business offers BComm degrees that provide you with an education for many careers in business. You may choose any of these fields of study for your undergraduate degree:  

You will have the opportunity to take part in co-operative education programs, available in the following programs: Accountancy, Business Technology Management, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, Marketing, and Supply Chain Operations Management.

Degree requirements

You must select a major in the BComm program. You may also complete an optional 12 credit Business minor in addition to your major, however, you may not take both a major and minor in the same discipline. The 90 credit BComm program consists of the following:

  • 42 credits – Core Courses
  • 24 credits – Major
  • 24 credits – Electives (12 credits must be from offerings outside the John Molson School of Business)

Core courses

Everyone entering a John Molson School of Business degree program must complete a common set of 14 required core courses.

Extended credit program (ECP)

If you graduated from a secondary school outside Quebec, then the Extended Credit Program (ECP) is designed for you. ECP requires you to complete 30 non-Business credits in addition to the requirements of the regular 90-credit program.
