The work of Ehsan Rezabeigi, inaugural recipient of the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) photo award, will be on display at universities across the country as part of a travelling exhibition.

The Concordia grad (PhD 15) and postdoctoral researcher captured the top spot in NSERC’s Canada-wide Science Exposed contest last year. His image, Rebuilding Damaged Bones, is a close-up of a flower-like implant that promotes bone regrowth. Rezabeigi also won the 2016 People’s Choice Award.

His photo and those of 21 other finalists from Science Exposed and La preuve par l’image — a similar competition held by the Association francophone pour le savoir (Acfas) — will be on view on the main floor of the Richard J. Renaud Science Pavilion on November 6 and 7, and in the atrium of the EV Building on November 8, 9 and 10.
