The Joint Public Advisory Committee (JPAC) of the Commission for Environmental Cooperation (CEC), is organizing a public forum on Advancing Sustainable Clean Energy Cooperation in North America, which will take place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, on 7 November 2016. The event is open to the public (no admission charge).

The 2016 Leaders’ Statement on a North American Climate, Clean Energy, and Environment Partnership announced a historic goal for North America to strive to achieve 50 percent clean power generation by 2025. With the overall goal of providing recommendations on this important topic to the CEC Council—North America’s highest-level federal environmental authorities—the JPAC members, invited experts, and stakeholders will discuss how North America can rise to this challenge and advance innovation in clean energy and energy efficiency. Participants convening in-person and via webcast will also consider the policy and regulatory challenges of new energy-related technologies. Download the invitation
