PERFORM for students
The PERFORM Centre offers university students unparalleled hands-on learning opportunities from within a multidisciplinary setting composed of nine research labs. Students have access to health researchers and professionals who are leaders in their field.
Students working at PERFORM — whether they are enrolled in professional-quality internships or research assistantships — get the opportunity to work directly with researchers and professionals who are on the cutting edge in their field.
Athletic Therapy Clinical internship
PERFORM houses an athletic therapy clinic open to the general public. This unique clinic is staffed by internship students under the supervision of certified athletic therapists. This internship opportunity is open to students from any recognized accredited program.
Clinical Exercise Physiology internship
Students enrolled in a Clinical Exercise Physiology internship at Concordia University acquire hands-on learning through their active participation at the PERFORM centre's fully-equipped gym, specialized community programs and individualized fitness programs.
All internship students are under the supervision of certified exercise physiologists.
The PERFORM Centre is open to internship opportunities with faculties and departments from across Concordia and other universities. We work with departments and faculties to develop specialized internships to meet student needs and interests.
Specialized internships are granted by the department that you are registered in. Please have your department contact us directly to learn more.
