GPWL918 - Stretch and Strengthen

Students are guided through a series of easy to follow stretches and strengthening exercises that targets overall body. Relieve some tension on the neck, back, and hips through various stretches and movements. Strengthen your core, upper and lower body to help improve posture. Learn proper form and technique and how to move safely. Exercises are practiced standing, sitting, and lying down. Walk away feeling refreshed!

Make sure to wear some comfortable clothing as you will actually do the stretching exercises several times to practice. Please bring a lock so you can use the locker facilities at Le Gym for your personal belongings.

This workshop takes place at Le Gym (EV S2.206)

Learning Objectives

Purpose: for students learn and experience the benefits of exercise both mentally and physically.
Objective: for students to participate in guided exercises in the workshop, and feel encouraged to continue to make time to exercise.
