GPLD651 - Project Management Essentials

IMPORTANT: Students may only sign up for one project management course each semester - GPCB650 or GPCB651.

This introductory seminar to project management will present an overview of essential elements to creating and tracking a successful project plan. Through lectures, interactive discussion and group work, students will learn why planning is so important to successful project execution and control.


Learning Objectives



In this workshop, students will:
1- Learn the essential elements to successful project planning.
2- Learn the essential elements to successful project execution.
3- Learn the distinguishing characteristics of high performing project managers.


Leaders Information



This workshop is led by Tina Cerulli, Eng., MCSE, PMP, CSM

Tina’s expertise is based on over 15 years of progressive corporate experience as an engineer, a project manager, and an international process leader. Tina has lead telecommunication projects across North America, Europe and Asia, and headed the deployment of Agile in 7 global project offices. Tina now draws on her hands-on and front-line experience to provide practical consulting services to individual practitioners, business and PMI chapters across Canada and the United States.
