Professor Nadeau is professor emeritus in the Department of Psychology at the Université de Montreal; recipient of the Order of Canada (2018) and the National Order of Quebec (2017); elected member of the Canadian Academy of Health Sciences (2016) and the Royal Society of Canada (2015). She was chair of the board of directors of Éduc’alcool (2010-) and co-chairs the Groupe de travail sur les niveaux à faible risque des jeux de hasard et d’argent.
