Research Assistant for the Research Chair on Gambling

We are currently seeking a research associate with significant experience in scientific coordination and qualitative research to coordinate scientific activities and conduct qualitative analyses as part of the ongoing ShaP/Ring gambling in the community of Kahnawà:ke: an ongoing dialogue research project.

The candidate will contribute significantly to developing the project's research orientations and will coordinate and conduct the analyses resulting from these orientations.

(Part-Time, 20 hours per week - Application deadline: May 29, 2026)

  • Coordinate all research activities related to the project (data collection, data analysis, report writing, scientific publications, team meetings, etc.)
  • Contribute to the development of a situational analysis grounded in the project's qualitive data.
  • Prepare a coding structure and conduct qualitative data coding
  • Supervise research assistants involved in the codification of qualitative data
  • Contribute to the integration of quantitative and qualitative analyses of the project in a report
  • Write reports, scientific publications and summaries
  • Assist the research team with various tasks related to the project
