possible but in office presence is mandatory)

RESEARCH CHAIR ON GAMBLING’S MISSION
Since its creation in 2012, the Research Chair on Gambling has been a hub for innovative research on gambling, risk and prevention. In partnership with various sectors both national and international, it supports a multidisciplinary team of researchers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Our team is looking for a motivated communication specialist to support the Research Chair on Gambling. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the Chair’s communications, digital presence, and knowledge mobilization activities, as well as supporting events and outreach initiatives.
Duties:
-Managing and updating the Chair’s website (content creation, editing, and maintenance)
-Managing social media platforms and developing engaging content strategies
-Designing communication materials (posters, flyers, newsletters, and other visual
content)
-Producing and editing multimedia content (video and audio)
-Supporting the planning, promotion, and coordination of events
-Representing the Chair and HERMES at events and public activities
-Assisting in the dissemination of research and knowledge translation initiatives
-Ensuring consistency of branding and communications across platforms.

REQUIREMENTS
-Bachelor’s degree in communications, media, or a related field
-Strong writing, editing, and visual communication skills
-Experience with website management (e.g., CMS platforms)
-Experience with social media management and content creation
-Basic skills in graphic design and multimedia editing
-Ability to work in both English and French
-Strong organizational and multitasking skills
