Since its creation in 2012, the Research Chair on Gambling has been a hub for innovative research on gambling, risk and prevention.
In partnership with various sectors both national and international, it supports a multidisciplinary team of researchers.

New Project with KSCS in Kahnawà:ke: The Research Chair on Gambling, in partnership with Kahnawà:ke Shakotiia’takehnhas Community Services (KSCS), and the Kahnawà:ke community, has been awarded a 5-year grant from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) to conduct the project:
“ShaP/Ring gambling in the community of Kahnawà:ke: an ongoing dialogue.”
This collaborative project explores gambling practices and harm reduction through sustained dialogue and community-led research.
