Research Assistant in Research Commercialization Support

This position is subject to the conditions of the CREW Collective Agreement and is only available to current Concordia students.

The Concordia Applied AI Institute (AI2) is a multi-disciplinary applied research unit representing more than 120 faculty members and their graduate students from the 4 Concordia University faculties. AI2 is a values-driven institute, committed to engaged leadership, caring for AI’s community and consequences, and responsive to public interest. Job description

We sit at the intersection of academia and industry — and we're looking for someone eager to close that gap. As our Research Commercialization Support Specialist, you'll be on the ground connecting researchers with industry partners, surfacing projects with real commercial potential, and making sure our umbrella organization is the obvious choice for routing a range of use case explorations through our ML Team and educational programming with ties to funding opportunities (including the Canadian Mitacs funding program). If you love building relationships in a university environment, navigating complex ecosystems, and making things happen, this role is built for you.
