The annual conference took place on May 22, 2025
The School of Health’s Annual Conference took place on May 22, 2025, welcoming over 210 students, researchers, faculty and trainees. Keynote speaker Darragh Ennis inspired the audience with his talk, "From the Lab to the TV Studio – A Career Spent Engaging the Public."
Attendees also participated in three dynamic breakout sessions focusing on Biomedical Science and Engineering, Clinical Research and Prevention and Community Health Research. These sessions, which covered a diverse range of topics, offered valuable opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration among students, faculty and professionals.

This year’s conference also featured a vibrant poster session, showcasing 89 research posters, including 31 posters from the winners of the Graduate Student Awards. 12 poster prizes of $500 each were awarded.
Additionally, congratulations to Jasmin Kotsiopoulos, winner of the Ed Whitlock Fellowship, who also received her award at the annual conference.
