The Guide to Studying the Visual Arts in Canada was launched on March 29, 2023, with an online panel of educators and curators, entitled “Growing Canadian Art Histories.” You can watch or download "Growing Canadian Art Histories" here.

Guest speakers were Gentiane Bélanger, Elizabeth A. Cavaliere, Mark A. Cheetham, Tammer El-Sheikh, Cynthia Imogen Hammond, Cathy Mattes, Gwendolyn Owens, Erin Silver, Carla Taunton, and co-editor of the GuideShannon Stride.

Jason Lewis leads a workshop, Indigenous Protocol and Artificial Intelligence Working Group, at the Ka Waiwai Collective in Honolulu

Congratulations to Jason Edward Lewis, co-director of the research project, Abundant Intelligences: Expanding Artificial Intelligence through Indigenous Knowledge Systems, which will be supported by New Frontiers in Research Fund for six years. The Indigenous-led project involves 37 co-investigators and collaborators, the majority Indigenous researchers and community members.
