Municipal Retrofit Policy Tool

For Quebec City

Goal

To provide point-and-click city-scale retrofit scenario modeling to support scientifically informed policy-making through detailed simulations and analysis of retrofit interventions.

Description

In partnership with Ville de Québec, this project delivers a city-scale tool to guide retrofit policy-making. Built on TOOLS4CITIES – CITYLayers, it enables what-if scenario simulations for retrofit interventions across any arrondissement or quartier, instantly showing projected energy savings, GHG reductions, and associated costs. It also supports fine-tuning scenarios by building characteristics such as vintage, height, floor area, and usage.
