The City of Montreal is performing the final paving of Guy Street beginning at 4 p.m. on Monday, September 5 (Labour Day), aiming to finish by 6 a.m. on Tuesday morning.
Avoiding the area during this time is highly recommended. Local residents will still have access to their parking garages but are warned that access may not be immediate.

The City of Montreal is performing the final paving of Guy Street beginning at 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, aiming to finish by 6 a.m. on Monday morning.
Avoiding the area during this time is highly recommended. Local residents will still have access to their parking garages but are warned that access may not be immediate.
April 7, 2016
The City of Montreal is installing new lamp posts on Guy Street the week of April 11.
The work will take two to three days and restrict access to the sidewalk on the east side along the exterior of the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Complex (EV Building). Pedestrians are encouraged to use the lobby of the EV or the west side of Guy Street.
A final repaving of the entirety of Guy Street will take place in May or June. During these operations, the parking and traffic lanes will be occasionally impeded, but traffic in both directions will be maintained at all times.

As of Thursday, November 26, all of the bus stops that had been temporarily relocated will return to Guy Street, just outside the Guy-Concordia metro station. See the map below for the affected lines.
