The talk will trace the role of the artists / institutions in social movements from the 'Quiet Revolution' until today.

Speaker bio

Stefan Christoff is a community activist, musician and radio host in Montreal who hosts / coordinates Free City Radio a radio show and zine exploring struggles for liberation and social justice, both locally and internationally. Stefan is also a founding member of the Howl! arts collective, a CKUT radio host since 2000 and has contributed to publications in Montreal and around the world, from Al Jazeera English to the Daily Star in Beirut.
