Instructions to use the volunteer database

Follow our step by step guide to use our volunteer database and discover your next opportunity!

Step 1: Make your student profile on the database

Step 2: Verify your email and log in

Check your email and follow the login link we sent to you. It may take a few minutes to arrive.

Step 3: Personalize your search with filters

Once you've logged in, you can browse the available volunteer opportunities and customize your search using the different filters and the map feature.

Step 4: Get details and build a custom list

On the summary of each opportunity, you can save the opportunities that sound interesting to you by clicking “add to list” on the top right of the window.

You can also click on “More info” on each posting to discover more details like application materials, contact information and other specifics about the opportunity.

Step 5: Email yourself a list and start reaching out

Once you have built a list of the opportunities that are of interest to you, you can email the list to yourself by clicking on the blue button on the top right of the main search page underneath the map feature.

You will now have a list of the volunteer roles with contact information so you can send your application materials and start volunteering!
