Want to volunteer, make friends and have fun? Do it all with ASB!

The Alternative Spring Break (ASB) program is a transformative service-learning experience in which students prepare for and partake in a week of hands-on volunteering with a community partner during Reading Week. Students prepare for the meaningful community service by attending workshops that cover issues around community development, concepts in service learning and conflict resolution. Throughout the workshops and during the week of service, students are encouraged to engage in critical thinking and personal reflection in order to enrich their academic experience and foster civic responsibility.
