Facilities for DCART students



Sensor Lab

The Sensor Lab provides facilities to Design and Computation Arts students working on projects that involve analogue electronics, microcontroller programming, and simple textile construction.

Visual Communication Lab

The Visual Communication (VC) Lab offers a variety of facilities and workshops for Design and Computation Arts students working on graphic design projects: bookbinding equipment, a guillotine paper cutter, a vinyl cutter, various finishing tools, and a library of resource manuals.

Computation Lab

The Computation Lab hosts computer workstations and offers personal guidance to Design and Computation Arts students working on creative computing and programming-intensive projects.

Fine Arts facilities



Core technical centres

Located on the 8th floor of the EV building, the core technical centres are available to all Fine Arts students and include: the metal shop, wood shop, fabrication shop, and digital fabrication lab.

Centre for Digital Arts (CDA)

CDA provides access to computer labs, editing suites, and multimedia/audiovisual equipment loans for Fine Arts students.
