Concordians got a true Taste of a Good Cause in on October 15 when half a dozen university-endorsed caterers handed out delectable samples of their wares in exchange for contributions to the Student Emergency and Food Fund (SEFF).

The noontime event raised more than $1,300!

Now in its third year, the Taste of a Good Cause event has raised nearly $4,000 for SEFF, which is run by Multi-faith Chaplaincy and offers food vouchers and emergency loans to students in dire straits.

Diners were impressed with the offerings, too. Feedback was overwhelmingly positive, calling it “tasty and innovative” and calling it “a wonderful initiative again this year.” Many appreciated the wide variety of vegetarian options.
