GM Building lobby re-opens, elevator service back to normal

UPDATE, April 5, 3:20 p.m.

The GM Building lobby (1550 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.) has re-opened and elevator service has resumed its normal operations.

Please exercise caution in the lobby area as clean-up work continues.

We thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
 

UPDATE, April 5, noon - Elevator service restored between 2nd and 11th floors; GM lobby to re-open at 3:30 p.m.

The GM Building lobby (1550 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.) remains inaccessible, but elevator service has been restored between the 2nd and 11th floors.

Security agents will be providing assistance in each elevator. People will need to exit on the 2nd  floor and take the stairs to the ground level where they will be provided with directions to exit the building.

To access the building, please enter via the Guy-Concordia metro station and use the stairs on the metro level next to the Tim Horton's.

All offices and services remain open, including Health Services and Financial Aid.

The lobby will re-open at 3:30 p.m., and elevator service will resume its normal operations at that time.

 

April 5 - GM Building lobby not accessible, offices and services remain open

A water leak has affected the GM Building lobby (1550 De Maisonneuve Blvd. W.); however, all offices and services remain open in the building, including Health Services and Financial Aid.

To access the building, please enter via the Guy-Concordia metro station and use the stairs on the metro level next to the Tim Horton's.

Security agents are on-site to help direct and support people to the stairs. If you are unable to use the stairs and need assistance, please contact Security at 514-848-3717.
