On November 18, 2016 an agreement in principle was reached between Concordia University and the Concordia University Union of Support Staff – Technical Sector (CUUSS-TS), on the terms for the renewal of the collective agreement.

Both parties expressed satisfaction at reaching the agreement.

“Thanks to the hard work and creativity of both negotiating teams, we’ve reached an agreement that we’re confident to present to our members for approval,” said Alex Macpherson, president of CUUSS-TS.

“I’d like to congratulate both the university and CUUSS-TS negotiating teams for their exceptional work,” said Roger Côté, VP Services. “They went the extra mile to come to a positive result that meets the needs of everyone involved.”

Details of the agreement are confidential while the parties submit it to the members of CUUSS-TS and to Concordia’s Board of Governors for approval.
