On November 11, the local community will have an unprecedented opportunity to discover what makes Concordia’s Senate-recognized research units tick.

From 2 to 4 p.m., the first ever Research Units Showcase will take over the atrium of the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV).

The event will feature 19 interactive booths displaying projects on topics ranging from nanotechnology, to human rights to renewable energy.

This is a chance to meet the students and faculty behind a multitude of trans-disciplinary projects and learn about the diverse nature of research and research creation at the university.

“Events like this are essential as we continue to create a culture of research excellence at Concordia,” says Graham Carr, vice-president of Research and Graduate Studies. “Understanding our research ecosystem is an excellent way of building on cross-faculty collaborations and exploring future partnerships.”

The Research Units Showcase will take place on Wednesday, November 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the atrium of the Engineering, Computer Science and Visual Arts Integrated Complex (EV) on the Sir George Williams Campus.
