It’s never too early to start thinking about university deadlines. These are the priorities for January, February and March 2014.

Confirm your schedule

You have a couple weeks to confirm your class schedule for the winter term. You can add and drop courses up until Sunday, January 19, 2014. As of this date, these are the classes you will be billed for. You will not be able to register for additional classes after this date.

If you need to withdraw from a class after this point, you can do so until Sunday, March 9, 2014. You will still have to pay the tuition and fees for courses dropped by this date, but you will not receive a grade.

Pay your tuition and fees

Payment of tuition and fees is due Friday, January 31, 2014, for both undergraduate and graduate students. You can confirm your balance owing on the MyConcordia portal under Student Account Services. Multiple payment methods are available, including a new option: MasterCard.

If you are concerned about meeting this deadline, you can contact the Financial Aid and Awards Office for information on budgeting, scholarships, bursaries and government aid.

Are you ready to graduate?

If you are finishing up your last term, you must apply to graduate by Wednesday, January 15, 2014. This lets the university know that you are completing the last courses of your degree and would like to be a member of the Class of 2014 in the spring.

You can fill out the application for graduation on the MyConcordia portal under Student Services.
