David Heurtel is the former Québec minister for Immigration, Diversity and Inclusiveness from 2017-2018 and elected member of the National Assembly for the Montréal riding of Viau between 2013-2018. Prior to this, from 2014-2017, he was the Minister for Sustainable Development, the Environment and the Fight Against Climate Change. By profession, he is a lawyer and an alumnus of Université de Montréal. He is Counsel in the Environmental Law, Energy and Climate Change Practice Group at Fasken. Mr. Heurtel is political analyst on several radio and television shows such as CBC’s Power & Politics.
Ivan Ross Vrána is a veteran in the field of government policy development. He is a widely recognized expert in cannabis related topics. He is Vice President - Government Relations and Business Development at Eve & Co Incorporated, one of Canada’s leading Cannabis producers. Previously, he was the National Director Cannabis & Vice President - Public Affairs at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, an international Public Relations and Communications company. He held senior policy positions at Health Canada and the Department of Finance. Mr. Vrána has published many articles on cannabis legalization, and has appeared on several radio and television shows such as CTV’s Power Play.
