Sites in the spotlight
Department websites
- You won’t need a microscope to see that the Department of Biology’s redesigned website highlights the versatility of their program offerings, including a “day in the life” video of a biology co-op student! The calming green colour palette and high-quality images of students and faculty collaborating in labs is a visual treat for prospective students and researchers.
- As a multidisciplinary department offering unique academic options, the streamlined School of Irish Studies site aims to showcase the depth and breadth of studying the world through an Irish lens, as well as the opportunity for degree combinations and funded travel to Ireland.

If you plug it in or turn it on, IITS supports it!
After extensive UX research and design, the IITS homepage and IT support pages are easy to scan and structured to point users directly to the service they need. The clean, updated About page presents interesting stats and lists the managers who help bring a human feel to the user experience.

Integration of microprograms
Microprograms, a distinct degree format, are growing in number and popularity. Introduced in 2021 with 2 offerings, Concordia will soon offer 12, and they are now integrated with our regular programs and can be found in the faceted search. See our microprograms in English and French.

In spring 2020, Concordia launched the COLE platform. It gave students a secure way to take exams online and enabled faculty to easily deliver their course content and assessments. COLE was recently decommissioned and the university now uses eConcordia and Moodle instead.
