Concordia provides IT training to faculty, staff and students through instructor-led workshops, online materials, demos and individual lessons.

Learn about online collaboration, enhance your IT skills and gain important cyber security knowledge.

 

Courses range from basic to advanced: Moodle, Zoom, MS Teams, MS Office, Cyber Awareness, Phishing and more.

FAQ

Workshops can be held online or in person. Since locations may vary, please take note of how or where your course will be held.

You must register for courses in advance. Standard courses are offered free of charge and availability is determined on a first-come-first-served basis. To see a list of available workshops and to register, go to our training and development registration page.

Once you have submitted your registration, you will receive email confirmation and a reminder email before the course date.

The IT training sessions often have waiting lists, so it is important to advise us as soon as possible if you have to cancel. Workshop places can be cancelled by sending an email to iits.training@concordia.ca or calling 514-848-2424, ext. 7688.

The workshops are 2.5 hours maximum.

Yes. If you try and register for a fully booked workshop, you will receive an email and your name will automatically be placed on a waiting list.

IT Training starts promptly at the advertised time. If you are more than 15 minutes late, it is at the discretion of the instructor as to whether you will be able to join the workshop.
