Art History: Dr. Cynthia Hammond - The Right to the City

Dr. Cynthia Hammond will be discussing her multi-year project The Right to the City at an event hosted by Concordia University's Office of Community Engagement. The project, which began in 2014, explores the post-industrial transformation of the south-west neighborhood of Pointe-Saint-Charles and the effect on its residents. Taking a multi-disciplinary and pedagogical approach, faculty and students explore the possibilities of community engaged scholarship and off-campus learning. This event is open to students, faculty, community organizers and representatives from other universities.
